God’s Promises

We can stand on the promises of God.   God’s promises are given to those who believe in Him, who trust in Him, and who walk in His way.  The only promise for a sinner is to either get saved or to die.   If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us.

We can do all things through Christ.  If we ask, it shall be given.  If we seek, we shall find.  Where two or three are gathered together in His Name, He is there in our midst.  The Son makes us free indeed.  If we are faithful unto death, we will receive a crown of life.  God began a good work in us and He is faithful to complete it.

There are over 7,000 promises in the Bible.  We can enter the inexhaustible mine of divine wealth.

God Says “Yes

People fail to keep promises, but God is not fickle.  People can’t make up their minds.  They are not dependable.   But God is faithful.  His message is not “Yes AND No.”  His message is “YES.”

We need to be single-minded and know where we stand in Christ.  Then, keep on standing.  Choose who you will serve.  As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Don’t follow the crowd.  The crowd will lead you to hell.  Follow the cross.

In 2nd Corinthians 1:20, we see that all of God's promises are YES in Christ.  God has promised to save you, to protect you, and to keep you.  Will He do it?  Yes!

We don’t have to wonder or worry or wish about the promises of God.  If God said it, that settles it.  God says yes

God saves from the uttermost to the guttermost.  By His stripes we are healed.

God says, “Peace, be still.”  Don’t worry about your family or your bills.  God makes a way out of no way.  Every Good and perfect gift comes from God.  God will not withhold any good thing from His children.  We all have something to say “Amen” about.  God healed you, saved you, gave you a home -- say Amen.  If God says yes, you ought to say Amen.

One Condition

There is a condition to God’s yes and to our Amen.  It is in 2nd Corinthians 1:20... it is “In Christ.”  Through Christ we say “Amen” by the power of God.

Go in through the door -- Jesus Christ -- to tap into the reliability of God.  You can depend on the Blood of the Lamb.  Jesus rose with all power in His Hand.

You can depend on Him.
