   Hallelujah has become a very well-known Christian word. It's found in many of the languages that The Bible has been translated. Hallelujah is derived from the Hebrew Hallelu Yah, meaning, and also often translated as praise The Lord, praise Jehovah or praise Yahweh. It's found in the Old Testament numerous times, most often in the Psalms, of which Psalms 146-150 are sometimes known as the "Hallelujah Psalms." Â
